Hall of Fame Guidelines

Guidelines for Hall of Fame Male and Female Award Nominations

Hounds must be deceased by two years or greater.

Hounds will be nominated in to 4 categories being Hall of Fame Male, Hall of Fame Bench Male, Hall of Fame Female and Hall of Fame Bench Female.

Nominations must be presented at the English Days Annual General Membership Meeting.

Nominations can be made either in person or by mail or by email to any of the Officers or Directors on the Board.

Nominations require a brief biography of the Hound at the time of nominations, either written or oral during the General Membership Meeting.

The floor will be opened for nominations and the Board will accept as many nominations as are presented.

A vote, by raising of the hands, by the majority of the General Membership in attendance at the General Membership Meeting will narrow the field of nominees in each category to two finalists.

The 8 finalists will be placed the annual ballot that will be mailed to the Membership in its entirety, and the Membership will be instructed to vote for one of the two finalists in each of the categories.

An elected chairman will contact the owner of the 4 winning Hounds and notify them of the award after the ballots have been counted at the Spring Board Meeting.

The Chairman will present the award on behalf of the United English Breeders and Fancier Association during the General Membership Meeting.

The winning Hounds names will be added to the list of Hall of Fame Male and Hall of Fame Female winners in the next printed yearbook of the United English Breeders and Fancier Association.
